Membership dues last one full year and are due the first of March (3/1) every year. You can pay your dues, Individual ($25.00) or Family ($35.00), by going to our donation page. Membership takes effect 14 days after dues are paid and grants those covered with full membership rights. A dues waiver can also be filled out for those unable to pay dues or who are members of the Young Democrats of Island County (YDIC).

*Some FAQs:

"What is the difference between Individual and Family Dues?" - Aside from price, Individual dues cover one person. Family dues cover everyone within the household that is over 18 and a registered voter in Island County. When submitting Family Dues, please send the names and contact information of those covered to the Chair's email.

"I don't live in Island County but still want to be involved. Can I still be a Member?" - Yes! An Associate Member is someone who does not reside in Island County and/or is under 18 but still wishes to be involved. Associate Members, however, can only serve on committees and assist with PCO Get-Out-The-Vote efforts/volunteer.

"I can't pay dues as set or I am with the YDIC, what do I do?" - ICDCC wishes all to participate regardless of ability to pay dues. For those who cannot pay dues as set, we encourage you to fill out a dues waiver and submit it to the Chair.

"Can I pay dues by check?" - Yes! Checks can be mailed to our P.O. Box. Please make sure to include your information on a separate piece of paper (name, address, phone, email, occupation/employer, and address of employment). If you are paying family dues with a check, please include all of the above information for those covered in your dues on a separate piece of paper as well. Please allow a one to two weeks for payments to be processed and information to be recieved.

"I didn't re-pay my dues in March or paid dues after March, can I still be a Member or Associate Member?" - Yes! This will just cause a lapse in your rights as a Member. When dues are not paid, you will need to wait 14 days before your rights within the organization are restored as if you are a new Member. If you are a completely new Member who paid their dues after March, the 14 day wait period will still apply. If there is a financial barrier, please contact the Chair or fill out a dues waiver.
